Amir is currently a contractor for Google for Education's APAC team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is currently responsible for the planning and executing Google for Education's main programs and initiatives related to education technology.
Previously Amir was one of the founding team member of the social enterprise unit in the Malaysia Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) where he lead the academy team responsible for building and accelerating the capacity of social entrepreneurs in Malaysia. He also lead the Malaysian Social Enterprise blueprint which was launched in 2015, in addition to several impact focused initiatives with other public and private organisation.
Prior to MaGIC, Amir was a strategy & transformation consultant with Accenture's management consulting practice from 2010 to 2014 where he consulted leading Fortune 500 companies, MNCs, Non-Profits and public sector agencies alike. He graduated from the University of Exeter Business School with First Class Honours in Business & Management.
