Jason is a global business services / shared services leader with 25+ years of experience in accounting, finance, shared services/GBS operations roles in multinational organizations such as PwC, IBM, Kimberly-Clark and BHP; and has served multiple international assignments to the United States and United Kingdom. Jason’s GBS/shared services experiences spans leading multi-functional global operations, driving transformation and change programs, expanding business service offerings and leading organizations of up to 1500 team members globally. Jason is passionate about talent/leadership development and has served as speaker/panelist at various GBS and Shared Services conferences in Malaysia as well as regionally. As Managing Director of PerfectWIP Training and Consulting, Jason provides capability building services such as training solutions, performance coaching and consulting services for Global Business Services / Shared Services organizations and professionals. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Jason is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is also a certified Change Management practitioner, Agile Project Management practitioner, Certified Associate Coach and HRD Corporation Accredited Trainer (Malaysia).
The impact I want to make
Over the past 25 years I have had the opportunity to learn, grow and lead in multiple multinational companies with varying degrees of responsibilities and span of leadership. I want to leverage my experiences to support the acceleration of the growth and development of working professionals who are the future leaders of industry and communities. I would also want to support mentees to breakthrough barriers that have held them back from realizing their potential. My belief is also that although no one is perfect and we are all a work-in-progress, we can all do our best to be the best WIP we can be so that we continue to grow and develop to be the best versions of ourselves.
