Jen Shaun WONG CA (ANZ) ACA(E&W) CPA (M) CA (M) ACPA graduated from the University of Melbourne, is a third-generation accountant and GST Agent with 6 years plus of practical experience in Malaysian, Singaporean and Australian VAT / GST across various industries. He was formerly attached to a Big 4 firm as a Indirect Tax consultant and was seconded to a Subsidiary of a UK Multinational Bank, where he had firsthand experience implementing GST. He is currently an in-house tax specialist with Malaysia's largest integrated tourist resort. His role there includes reviewing GST returns, liaising with Govt. authorities, and advising the Company on tax-related matters. Outside work, he actively volunteers in the committees of various accounting bodies. He was also a mentor for his alma mater’s career mentoring program.
