As an IT graduate, I started off as a Software Technical Support Engineer, mainly revolving around Customer Servicing. This role has given me the opportunity to follow the beliefs in both the 7 Habits and Tribal Leadership books, focusing on self-improvement and building a Stage 4 culture in the team. As a keen believer on working as a team, it is true that no man is an island and a synergized, aligned team is the way to achieving your goals. In my previous experience of working with different teams, I have also seen how much practicing the LEAN methods has brought benefits. That have actually made me pushed my creative side to brainstorm for new methodologies and ideas. My passion lies in injecting positive energy around the team. Being an energetic and jovial person myself, I grew up being the ‘happy chap’ amongst my family, friends, and co-workers. To build an awesome team, it is important that you bring out the best of each key player in a constructive environment. I would consider myself to be a resourceful, a strong doer, and a proactive fixer. Getting things done is my personal motto. Leaders do the right thing, instead of doing things right. The moment you stop learning is the moment you stop growing, this is very true in my opinion. As a young professional in this industry, I look forward to enhancing my management and analytical skills in my future roles.
