I am an accomplished Senior Executive with over 17 years of domestic and international experience in leading strategy, operations, and personnel within the Supply Chain & Logistics industry. In my current role I serve as Vice President, South East Asia and responsible for the business activities and growth agenda across 8 countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia & Indonesia. I oversee the business including Freight, Ocean/Air, Warehouse, Transport, Sales, Finance, HR, Customs and Compliance functions.
The impact I want to make
My favourite saying is.. "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you will land amongst the stars" I want to help someone shoot for the moon! I graduated university and shortly after started on a graduate program at a transport and logistics company in Australia. I was assigned a mentor and it was the most rewarding experience. This person acted as a sounding board, a confidant, who shared their experiences and learnings. l. I am happy to say that 15 years later, that first mentor is still my mentor. I have launched a graduate program at my previous company and was a mentor for 5+ years through that program. I would love the opportunity to mentor and I know I'll be able to share experiences and insights with the next wave of young people that make their way into the workforce. I have lived at worked in Malaysia for many years and love the culture and people in this beautiful country.
