I am a hospitality and marketing graduate, pivoting into the risk management space since starting my career in one of the big four accounting firms. Most of the technical or theoretical skills that I have learned in my student life, has not been applicable in my work experience thus I have learned all the skills and knowledge on the job since day one. Mentorship has been something that I have been advocating since I benefited indirectly from it at the start of my career by my managers that I worked with. I have actively been volunteering in various interest groups, this includes ISACA Singapore Chapter SheLeadsTech Programme Committee and SLT Conversion Mentorship Programme, EY Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Sustainability Exchange Program 2023, NUS Women in Business Mentorship Programme, and SMU X-Course Mentorship. As a mentor, I have the privilege of guiding and supporting talented individuals and teams that are from diverse backgrounds from high school students to university students, and mid career professionals, sharing my passion about life and work, key skillsets, real-world challenges, industry insights, and being a compass in their professional and personal development. I look forward to continue to inspire, guide, and support the people that are in need of a guiding light, inspiring others in ways I could to make an impact that matters.
