Karen Lee graduated from University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance). She proceeded to gain her experience in Deloitte, Touche, Tohmatsu within the Audit as well as Training Department. Her subsequent years were with SMEs as well as Public Listed Companies. She served as Accountant and Finance Manager companies specialising in Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing, Services and many others. Notably were with Malaysian Bulk Carriers Berhad, Global Soft (MSC) Bhd, Kelab Golf Negara Subang and Jardine Shipping Services (M) Sdn Bhd. Karen is a certified Public Accountant with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants and also a Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) Company Secretary. In 2018, she joined Mr. Tang Lai Meng as a partner in Wesource Corporate Services Sdn Bhd as well as Wesource CFO Services Sdn Bhd. The companies provide Company Secretarial & Corporate Advisory as well as Accountant and CFO Services. Mr. Tang Lai Meng, was previously a Chief Financial Officer with a USA Company and based in the Asia Pacific office in Singapore. He was also a CFO with a local retail company which grew from a sole proprietor business to a conglomerate with 130 outlets throughout Malaysia and South East Asia. Together, Karen & Mr. Tang is replicating the successfully proven process to clients within the Klang Valley through focused consulting and training as well as providing practical solutions Accounting, Finance, Treasury, HR, Tax and other corporate requirements. Karen is also a member of Business Network International (BNI). Through this network, she has access to many entrepreneurs and professional individuals for potential collaborations. The newest initiative is to reach out to soon to be graduates and provide a potential recruiter’s perspective on the importance of experience on non-technical matters apart from technical knowledge.
